♡ Explore Melbourne : Love Locks along Yarra River

Valentine's Day

Between 10-17 February, your partner and yourself can help the Heart Foundation by buying a Love Lock for $10 to commemorate your love for each other. You can write special messages to each other and attach your lock on their heart installation.  (A lady was taking a bunch of selfies and I didn't have time to wait for her to leave so I added a cupcake to sweeten the picture!)

Every love lock purchased will help the Heart Foundation save more lives.

You can find the installations here:
  • Queensbridge Southbank 14 February,  8am - 10pm
  • Federation Square 15 February, 8am-10pm
  • Federation Square 16-17 February, 10am-8pm

Alternatively, you can purchase your own special Love Locks and secure them along the Yarra River for a more romantic atmosphere where people will be able to walk along the bridge and see the display of locks on the bridge. Some locks are quite unique and different which makes them easier to stand out and find; some locks are interestingly intertwined with each other so I wonder what that means about the relationship. Is it a complicated relationship or an open relationship? Haha
Plus always fun to challenge yourselves to find your special Love Lock with your partner again in a few weeks or months and see how fast you guys can find it together.

[Review] Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy

Can we just stop and admire the packaging here? The clear acrylic cap adorned with a pretty pink elastic ribbon with the dangling 'J' and 'Couture' charms attached. While you can take off the ribbon, the charms are a lot more difficult to remove but I like to keep them attached as it would look better with it than without. And it just stands out from my other perfumes I have.

Notes include Wild Berries, Mandarins, Honeysuckle, Gardenia, Jasmine, Amber, Caramel, Vanilla, Sandalwood, Praline.

I first smelt this in Sephora in Malaysia and the scent just drew me in immediately! This scent is sweet and fruity. One spritz is definitely enough as two would be too much. I love that this perfume is not too strong as I tend to get headaches and sensitive nose from perfumes are are overwhelmingly powerful but not with this one.

Viva La Juicy is an Eau de Parfum therefore it has long lasting power. On my skin it has nearly lasted a whole day and on my clothes I can even smell it the next day.

When I wear this out, I feel girly and playful but also flirty and sensual. I have recieved compliments on this from both males and females and they love it too. Viva La Juicy is one of my signiture scent and I hope I never run out of it.

[Review] Mizon Aloe 90 Soothing Gel

Summer is here in Australia, what better way to cool and relieve your skin than with Mizon's Soothing Gel?

This gel cream is made in South Korea and the only English description on this tube is that '90% Aloe Vera juice from Jeju island contained', everything else include the back of the tube is in Korean.

The tube contains 200ml of product which is more than enough as I have had this product for nearly a year now and it is only half used up! As this contains 90% aloe vera (from Jeju Island!), it is very soothing and moisturising to skin atfer a long day out in the summer sun.

This gel has many uses such as skin calming, moisturising, skin esasticity and skin protection. You can also use this product in different ways such as for treating sunburns, dipping cotton pads in to the gel and treating yourself to a facial mask or just use it as it is!

Suitable for all skin types, this product is not oily or greasy and its works particulary well for people with dry and sensitive skin conditions like me.

This absorbs very quickly into the skin and it does't leave a sticky finish to the skin which is one of the things I look for in a moisturiser. I use this nearly everyday and it feels very refreshing and gentle.

As you can see it has a watery gel consistency that is not thick or heavy at all and note that you do not need the amount of product I have on my fingers in the picture above, you'll find that one finger scoop is enough to cover your entire face.

I would highly recommend this product for its multi-uses. You can use this product everyday for anything!

Love, Judy
